These are trying times we are all facing right now. Social distancing, quarantining, distance learning, disinfecting—are all part of our daily terminology, including the phrase ” where is the toilet paper?” In our household, we have an elderly person living with us, we have a special needs child in the home, and I have a compromised immune system. Also part of our household, are 2 healthy middle school boys and a son away at college. Just like everyone else, we are looking for practical ways to continue to learn, eat, clean and have some (safe) fun in the midst of this unprecedented crisis. The following are some helpful learning and entertainment resources for families from across the Internet.

Remember, even in the midst of stressful times, that we need to continue to help each other. Social distancing may be necessary during this time but nothing replaces the well-meaning gesture of a phone call, email or text. Remember to reach out to the most vulnerable in our communities, including neighbors, elderly, and those with disabilities. Remember our first responders, law enforcement and healthcare workers, who are working long hours away from their own families. God is still in control. Be kind and continue to lookout for one another. Stay safe!
