Today is the 1st day of school for many children across the nation and its no different in the nation’s capitol. As Joseph and I waited at the bus stop, you can sense the feeling of nerves and excitement coming from the kids waiting for the bus. Everyone had on their 1st day of school new clothes on, new bookbags, new shoes, and a general positive feeling. 1st day back to school always has a sense of hope and anticipation for the learning year ahead. I wish all the kids going back to a great first day back and a wonderful new school year!
