Back-To-School Fun and Shopping Savings with “My Limo” by Da Rich Kidzz #KmartBackToSchool

With the Labor Day around the corner, it marks the start of school for many families across the U.S.  In Florida, my 10th grade teen son and identical kindergarten twins went back to school during these last two weeks.  To help with back to school shopping, we utilized the Sales Tax Holiday Weekend and shopped for supplies at Kmart.  The back to school shopping list for a teen and kindergarteners can be vastly different and require many items – everything from lunch boxes to USB sticks.  We were glad to find so many of the items we needed for back to school at affordable prices at Kmart (and saving us from having to drive to various stores to complete the shopping list).

You might have already seen the #KmartBackToSchool national commercials featuring the Da Rich Kidzz (like the one shown below).

Did you know that they are a real group? Da Rich Kidzz, a group of kid rappers from Minneapolis ranging in age from 10 – 13 years old, have teamed up with Kmart and Shop Your Way to make a hip-hop music video all about riding their school bus back-to-school in style. 

Its refreshing (as a Mom and a fan of hip-hop music) to see positive hip-hop music that supports and encourages learning from such a young group of talented kids.  My kids all know the “My Limo” song and its undeniable beats makes anyone want to get their ‘school swag’ on!  See more Back to School looks at http://bit.ly/_BackToSchool.
