Create Family Time with Nintendo Wii and Mario Kart Wii

As wife and mother to a teen boy and toddler twin boys, its important for me to create family time that is enjoyable for all of us.  Having multiples does significantly impact and increase household expenses.  With most families in these current difficult economic situations, cost-effective, durable and quality products are very much needed.  The invention of the Nintendo Wii provides families a time to come together-not only to partake in fun, dimensional and active games-but a tool that helps to bring about family time. Now more than ever, families can have endless hours of interactive fun with the new lower-priced Wii that comes packaged with Mario Kart Wii.

Nintendo is dropping the suggested retail price of its Wii system to $149.99 (from originally $199.00) and including a Mario game with the Wii hardware. The newly priced Wii system will come in either black or white with the Mario Kart Wii game and a matching colored Wii Wheel accessory, replacing the previously included Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort games.  Nintendo understands that one of their primary consumers of Nintendo Wii are families and appreciates the gaming experience shared by all.

Growing up in the 80s, I can still remember the excitement of getting my first Nintendo gaming set and playing the original Mario Brothers. Fans of Nintendo will appreciate the new Nintendo Selects collection of Wii games, a set of popular games that millions of people have already experienced, at a retail price of $19.99. The four games in this collection are The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers and Wii Sports, which is available for the first time as a separate software purchase.

With Mario Kart Wii now included with the Wii hardware, players will be able to enjoy fun go-kart racing with Mario and all his Mushroom Kingdom pals right out of the box. The Wii Remote Plus controller, Nunchuk controller and Wii Wheel included in the package will all match the hardware, meaning they will be either black or white. The new black Wii Wheel will also be available separately at a retail price of $9.99.
