As a mother of a teen and toddler identical twins, I am always searching for quality, fun and educational products. During the preschool years, its important to enhance learning and development in preparation for school. With toddler twins boys, its necessary to have items that are comprehensively engaging for their age level. Disney’s Baby Einstein, an award-winning leader of infant/preschool products, recently launched the new newest editions of the Baby Einstein Discovery Kits – Baby Lullaby, Neptune’s Oceans & World of Rhythm.
Baby Einstein Discovery Kits, specifically designed for babies up to two-years of age, help parents introduce babies to classical music, nature and the arts through integrated multimedia kits. One of the unique aspects about the kits is that each kits is packaged to include a DVD, a music CD and either a book or Discovery Cards. The musical CD, books and Discovery cards correspond to theme of Baby Einstein DVD. All multimedia elements included in the kit offer three levels of discovery, Experience (Level 1), Explore (Level 2) and Expression (Level 3). Level 1 kits are about experiencing music, utilizing popular classical music works by Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and others, re-orchestrated for little ears and enhanced with simple baby-friendly images and puppet shows. Level 2 kits explore the outdoors and focus on animals found in nature, the ocean and around the home. Level 3 kits showcases puppet hosts including Coco the dancing cockatoo, Vincent Van Goat and Bard the Dragon, and give toddlers a platform to move and express themselves through music, colors and words.
My twins enjoyed watching the DVDs and identifying the objects from the cards and books with the DVDs. They would see a picture (i.e, red ball or dog) on one of the Baby Einstein Discovery Kits DVDs and would try to match the same picture in the books or cards. The Discovery Kits were useful for identification, memory recall, and identifying everyday objects.

Great Review, Jos! 🙂 Your twins look like they really enjoyed the dvds. My girls loved Baby Einsteins, and my youngest set love them as well. I think it’s the music. 😉
