In a home full of boys, the only ‘girlie’ items (usually with the color pink) in my home belong to me so I am always happy to highlight products that are for girls, especially ones that encourage learning and girl empowerment. As a Fisher-Price Play Ambassador #FPPlayAmbassador, I have the opportunity to share some of the latest Fisher-Price news and products. Following the excitement of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, children will be able to get in the action with the Fantastic Gymnastics Dora.
Listen to 5 time Olympic gold medalist, Nastia Luikin, talk about the features of the Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll:
Dora performs four full routines all on her own and include handstands, backbends, splits and more. She also sings a special song about gymnastics and speaks in English and Spanish. As a Latina mom, I love the fact that Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll continues to promote Dora’s bilingualism and is encouraging kids to get active. (Dora Fantastic Gymnastic Adventures is available as a game on Nick Jr. at http://www.nickjr.com/games/dora-fantastic-gymnastics-game.jhtml). For parents with twins or multiples, this doll is a must-have for the upcoming holiday season and because of Dora’s action-packed gymnastic moves, one doll can be shared.
