In a home full of men, sports is part of my daily life. With a husband from Philadelphia and myself from New York, we are always supporting our own hometeams. The Bugs Bunny saying “…of course, you know, this means war..,” is very true when it comes to rubbing it in when our team is victorious over the other. Football attire, uniform colors, victory dances, pointing, shouting, and generally a smug attitude takes over us when our team wins.

Much to the unhappiness of my spouse and to my own personal joy, Super Bowl XLVI will feature the best team in the NFL, New York Giants (YEA!)….oh…yeah…and that other sorry team..New England Patriots (BOO!).
No Super Bowl party would be complete without food and some $ money $ to help organize a great bash. Hormel Foods Recipes Facebook page is running a Super Bowl promotion called “Go Big for the Big Game Sweepstakes!”
Fill out the simple entry form that can be found HERE and you will be entered to win a $500 gift card! The promotion ends tomorrow (2/3/12) at 12 PM CST.
