Bloggers from across America learned about the history of General Mills, General Mills products (including Betty Crocker and Bisquick), and discovered an important value of how to use these very same products in new ways.
One box of Bisquick can be used to make breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Some easy and fun recipes to make using Bisquick are the Ultimate Chicken Fingers and Churros.

Directions
1. Heat oven to 450ºF. Line cookie sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray.
2. Mix Bisquick mix, cheese, salt and paprika (optional coconut flakes) in 1-gallon resealable plastic
food-storage bag. Dip half the chicken strips into egg; place in bag of Bisquick mixture. Seal bag; shake to coat. Place chicken on cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken. Drizzle butter over chicken.
3. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, turning after 6 minutes with pancake turner, until no longer pink in center.
Ingredients
Vegetable oil
4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 1/4 cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 cup hot water
Directions
1. In 3-quart saucepan, heat oil (2 to 3 inches) over medium-high heat until thermometer inserted in oil reads 375°F.
2. In small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of the sugar and the cinnamon; set aside. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, hot water and remaining 1 tablespoon sugar with spatula until dough forms.
3. Spoon dough into pastry bag fitted with 1/4-inch star tip. Pipe 5-inch strips of dough into hot oil. If necessary, cut dough with knife or scissors between each churro. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, turning frequently, until golden brown. Carefully remove from oil; drain on paper towels.
4.Immediately sprinkle churros generously with sugar-cinnamon mixture. Serve warm.

Cool post! Its really great to know that the General Mills brand is trying to engage the consumer. So many times shoppers don’t get any valuable feedback from the brands with their concerns. Obviously, General Mills is taking the lead approaching the market in a new way.
