During the holiday season, it’s easier to remember to give and donate to others like deployed military and military organizations. However, after the Christmas tree is put down and the decorative lights are put away, our deployed military and their families still need a helping hand.
A lot of pressure and struggles occur when the family of a deployed solider remain behind trying to maintain the household. The deployed solider not only has to be focused on their often dangerous job in another country but also tend to worry about how life is progressing back at home. My own husband was on deployment for almost the entire length of my high-risk pregnancy of our twin boys. (Thankfully, the twins were born 5 weeks early and my husband was able to be present for the twins’ birth).
