Like most parents, I am always looking for fun places to enjoy together as a family and if you have children, between the ages of 2 and 12, then I have the place for you!
LEGOLAND Florida is a 150 acre interactive theme park featuring more than 50 rides, shows and attractions focusing on imagination and fun for families. You can step inside the imaginative world of Lego as you interact, ride and watch the beloved toy bricks come to life. From character appearances, exciting rides, and a Duplo Village for the little ones, LEGOLAND Florida sparks the imagination and shows us just how much you can do with these beloved bricks.
LEGOLAND has announced an exciting new expansion coming to their Central Florida theme park.
This November, families can visit and interact with the NEW Lego Star Wars Miniland Cluster which is already popular at their California and Germany locations.
For those of you who have never visited a LEGOLAND theme park, the Miniland area is an interesting and interactive area where you can visit different cities and landmarks, all made with Lego bricks. At LEGOLAND Florida, located in Winter Haven (45 minutes from Orlando), the Miniland features such locations as Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and New York City. Miniland is extremely popular with adults and children, featuring interactive elements that excite and surprise.
The new Star Wars Miniland Cluster will include a different scene from each live action Star Wars film and as a bonus there will be a scene recreated from the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The area will feature 2000 Lego models, created with more than 1.5 million Lego bricks. The Star Wars cluster will allow guests to follow chronologically along the timeline as a major event from each film is displayed. Kids will love being able to interact with the Lego models, including making the popular Millennium Falcon (which took over a month to build) come to life before their eyes. From the tiniest details, to some models towering at more than 6 feet tall, the Star Wars cluster promises to be a must see for all Star Wars fans. Thanks to the partnership with Lego and LucasFilms, this Fall will be an exciting time at LEGOLAND Florida.
Plan a visit to go out of this world and let the force be with you this November at Legoland Florida!
If you are considering bringing your kids to LEGOLAND Florida, there are many exciting things to see and do. You can get an amazing view of the park from 150ft up aboard the Island in the Sky. In Funtown, families can catch a 3D Lego-themed movie and ride the double decker carousel. Kids can go on their own Safari Trek in Land of Adventure and watch the water stunt and ski show in Pirates’ Cove. Let your imagination run wild during a fun-filled day at LEGOLAND Florida.
LEGOLAND offers day passes, annual passes and premium passes to include the LEGOLAND Water Park.
