Cell Phones. The truly must-have necessity for any family but also one of the mostly costly expenditures for any family budget. Government data shows that after the cost of mortgages or rent, the second highest expense for families is cell phone bills. In recent years, many people have cut back on discretionary expenses such as dining out and clothing purchases. However, spending on mobile phone services has grown at a steady pace with “locked-in” annual contracts. As a result, mobile phone expenditures have increased as a percentage of household expenditures. Looking for a way to save cost without sacrificing quality national cell coverage and service? TracFone is one of America’s largest no-contract wireless service providers with reliable nationwide coverage on America’s leading networks.
How Can You Save With TracFone?
TracFone has no contracts, no bills, no overages, no credit checks, no activation or cancellation fees. You can just pay for minutes, text or data that you actually use. With unlimited carryover from TracFone, customers get to keep their unused minutes, texts, and data as long as their service is active and in use within each six month period.
TracFone has a variety of plans that you can choose from that suit your needs and finances, such as 90-day Android™ smartphone talk, text and data plans starting at just $19.99, an average monthly cost of only $7. Plus you get Triple Everything, 3X Talk, 3X Text, 3X Data when you purchase any no-contract plan for your Android™ smartphone device.
Have a smartphone that you enjoy using now? Bring it to TracFone and get one of the most affordable plans in America on one of the two largest 4G LTE networks. The only thing you’ll lose is your contract (and you can even keep your same cell phone number)!
Where and How Can I Get a TracFone?
TracFone phones can be purchased at Tracfone.com or at most major retailers, i.e. Walmart, Target, Kmart, etc. My father was in need of a new cell phone so I brought him to our local Walmart so he can see the variety of phones that TracFone had to offer from smartphones to feature phones.
My father wanted to find a phone that had a large keypad, camera and external caller ID. We found everything he was looking for with Tracfone’s Big Easy Flip by Alcatel.
When he found his preferred phone, he chose to use airtime plans so he can easily monitor his usage. (On smartphones, customers can check their estimated balance and service days with the free MyAccount App).
The 1 Year Airtime Service Plan included 400 minutes and also offered double minutes for talk, text and web so it ends up being a total of 800 minutes (which is like paying only $8.33 per month for cell phone service)!
Once you purchase your phone and plan, phones can be activated by calling the TracFone customer service number at (800) 867-7183 or activating it online at Tracfone.com. If activating online, it can be done in 5 easy steps.
Step #1. Choose the Activate Phone button at the top right of the screen.
Step #2. Register as a New Online Customer
Step #3. Enter the Zip Code of area where you will be using your Tracfone the most
Step #4. Add your SIM or Serial Number (it can be found on your phone or with the START HERE guide inside new phones)
Step #5 Enter your Airtime PIN number (by scratching of the gray strip at the back of the airtime card to reveal the 15-digit PIN number)
AND NOW YOU HAVE A NEW NO CONTRACT AND NATIONWIDE COVERAGE
CELL PHONE BY TRACFONE!
