Before and After Pictures of Japan from Google Maps via Huffington Post |
With the devastation of the tsunami & earthquake, Japan needs all the help it can get and with the power of technology you don’t even have to be there to aid the people of Japan. You can make a difference while sitting on your couch, on a bus, or even while shopping online!
If you’re on Twitter, do as the Twitterers
Twitter is all about communication and what better thing to communicate than how you can help someone in need? Send a tweet and spread the word or RT the messages that are already being sponsored so you can make an immediate impact.
Use your thumbs!
Many humanitarian organizations are going with the times, send REDCROSS to 90999 and $10 will be billed to your account and immediately added to the Relief efforts.
Buy a case for one of your devices!
Incipio is now donating 15% of EVERY sale to the Red Cross Japanese Tsunami relief so not only will you be helping yourself (Incipio has some GREAT cases) but also the people of Japan.
Most importantly make sure everyone is ok!
Verizon and AT&T are giving all of their wireless customers FREE texts and calls to Japan through the 31st and if you are on a landline on either carrier, you will get 60 free minutes to Japan.

Great post – I think it’s great that you’ve posted something to help support this. I just heard from a mom of my son’s classmate and she has family in Japan (at least 6 members) whom they have not heard from yet…Hopefully everyone can pull together for this.
