If you grew up in a Latin, Portuguese, Filipino or other household of various nationalities, you would be familiar with telenovelas. Much like the American daytime soap operas, telenovelas are soap operas or serial dramas. However, where many English language soap operas appear during daytime, telenovelas usually appear at night during the primetime hours of 7-10 PM. In addition, telenovelas follow a storyline that has a clear beginning and end so they usually run for a period of time (between a few weeks to months to a year).
Telemundo’s new super series, Señora Acero will premiere on Tuesday, September 23 at 10pm/9C.
