I am a morning/daytime kind of person so basically on most days as soon as the alarm rings I’m awake. I am not a coffee drinker (I know…shocking) so I am naturally ‘high’ in the morning. Before marriage and the kids, my quiet time to myself to pray, read the Bible and Christian material was in the early morning hours. It was a peaceful way to start the day and keep me positively focused on the tasks ahead. Fast forward a couple of years later, I’m still a morning/daytime person, but my morning and peak daytime hours are quite different. Mornings are busy with getting the kindergarten twins and high school teen school off to school, trying to keep up with everyone’s schedules including my husband, taking care of clients and getting new business as a small business owner, taking my parents to their medical appointments…basically its the constant daily life of any multitasking woman and mom. Often when the evening hours roll around, I’m ready to crash. I desperately need (probably now more than ever) my quiet time with the Lord but realize that the actual quiet ‘time’ can vary from place to place or time of day. It’s a wonderful (and much appreciated) resource to get Christian resources and material when I need them and at the time I need them.
TWR is the world’s largest Christian radio broadcaster with missionaries around the world and has been around for nearly 60 years. Now they have launched their new beta consumer platform, TWR360 (available online and all the time).
TWR360 is the world’s premier online tool for accessing Christian media resources in the user’s heart language – leading people from doubt to decision to discipleship. When a user connects to the site via computer or mobile device, TWR360 automatically detects the user’s language and displays all partner-generated content currently available in that language. The site is able to deliver audio, video and text-based resources with a wide variety of content, including preaching, Bible teaching, and materials for children and women. Initial ministry partners include Thru the Bible, Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah, FamilyLife Today, Craig Church Ministries, Keep Believing Ministries and more.
The inspirational and spirit-filled content on TWR360 are a very helpful resource for the busy person because you can connect at anytime or on-the-go. Content can be listened to online or via smartphones like the iPhone or Android.
As a listener, I was glad to see Dr. Tony Evans and his ministry program called The Urban Alternative. The Urban Alternative is the national ministry of Dr. Tony Evans and is dedicated to restoring hope and transforming lives through the proclamation and application of the Word of God.
I am life-long fan of Dr. Tony Evans since my childhood in New York. I can remember watching his powerful and thought-provoking messages on television with my family and many times in the afternoons on the car radio on the ride home from school.
Through listening to TWR360, I learned that Dr. Tony Evans had co-authored a book with his daughter Chrystal Evans Hurst, (another busy mom, wife, ministry leader, public speaker and a Jesus Girl). The book is called Kingdom Woman and yesterday started the 1 month journey for woman to not only read not Kingdom Women but to become the woman God always intended us to be. (I registered to start the 1 month journey myself as well!)

I was greatly pleased to see that TWR360‘s programming readily impacted my life (with learning about Kingdom Woman) and that the media platform had so many ministry partners that speak to the core of daily living like Family Life Today (which can be listened in Spanish as well on TWR360.)
FamilyLife provides listeners with help for today and hope for tomorrow through their daily radio program, “FamilyLife Today.” With Dennis Rainey and co-host Bob Lepine as the go to experts for family and marriage, the program is building solid relationships with listeners around the world! FamilyLife has been dedicated to building godly families one home at a time since its beginning in 1976. Through FamilyLife’s events, parenting advice and family and marriage resources—Dennis and Bob are offering biblical insight that’s much needed for today’s families
TWR360 supports the mission of fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission by enabling people to access a wide range of Christian digital resources. Ministries that use TWR360 will expand their communication range by dismantling language barriers, thereby allowing people everywhere to build their faith. TWR360 speaks hope to the world through a single, multilingual Web portal. The site is now available online in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic and Russian. Plans call for 12 additional languages to be added within the next year.
I found TWR360 to be a multifaceted resource full of inspirational and Bible-based teachings and messages
available 24/7 and anytime you need.
