What would happen if aliens or “visitors” came to earth? Would you greet them with open arms or run in fear from them? What would happen if the visitors looked like us, promoted peace, and had cures for our earthly illnesses? Would you still run?
The show V answers those questions when a powerful and seemingly peaceful group of out of this world visitors hover over major cities across the planet. Their beautiful leader, Anna, bestowed medical advances and technology and those on earth embrace the visitors for their help. However, the visitors peace outreach to earth soon begins to unravel to reveal a more sinister plot.
When watching V, a remake of the 1980s television miniseries, its easy to imagine what would happen on earth if visitors from another world suddenly appeared. Our collective images of out of this world inhabitants range from the friendly E.T. to hostile alien takeovers from Independence Day. Yet if the visitors who come to this planet look and talk just like us, would the human race be scared of them? V is an interactive show being depicted from the point of view of the visitors and those on earth so it assists to answer the question, “whose side are you on?”
